Hi, I’m Marcy Cline, the founder of Rooted2Wellness, LLC — a small-batch herbal apothecary and holistic wellness practice located in north-central Illinois.
With over 23 years of experience as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist and a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition, I’ve seen firsthand how the body has an incredible ability to heal when it’s given the right support. My goal is to bridge traditional health care with natural solutions that get to the root cause — not just the symptoms.
What started as a personal passion for herbal remedies has grown into a full apothecary filled with handcrafted tinctures, tea blends, syrups, and body oils, all made in small batches using high-quality herbs and natural ingredients. Each product is formulated with intention — to support balance, calm, and vitality in everyday life.

What is elderberry syrup used for?
Elderberry syrup is a traditional herbal remedy made to support immune health and help your body’s natural defenses during seasonal changes. It’s rich in antioxidants and vitamins that promote overall wellness year-round.
How should I take herbal tincture?
Most tinctures can be taken by adding 1-2 dropperfulls under your tongue or into a small amount of water, tea, or juice up to three times daily. Always read your products label for specific directions and remember a little goes a long way!
Does elderberry syrup need to be refrigerated?
Yes, store in the fridge and use within three months for the best fresh and the same flavor.
Can I refill my bottle of elderberry syrup?
Absolutely! Bring your clean bottle to any Rooted2Wellness refill station or pop-up event for a discounted refill.
How do I take elderberry syrup?
Adults- take one to 1 tablespoons daily for general wellness or, up to three times per day during active illness.
Children- take a 1 teaspoon daily or, up to 3 times per day during active illness.
You can take it straight from the spoon mix into tea drizzle over yogurt or pancake pancakes!
Can I take if I am pregnant or Nursing?
Many people use elderberry safely while pregnant or breast breast-feeding but everyone is different. Please check with your healthcare provider before use.
How is Rooted2Wellness elderberry syrup different?
My syrup is made in small batches, using organic ingredients and raw local honey - never overly processed or mass produced. Each bottle is made with care, intention, and a deep respect for herbal tradition.
Can everyone take herbal tincture?
Most people can safely take herbal tincture, but everybody’s body is different. It’s always best to check with your healthcare provider, especially if you’re pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medications, or managing a chronic condition.
